Ethan & Friends was founded by Mike Sciortino of Cape Girardeau, MO after his grandson, Ethan, was diagnosed with autism. His daughter and her family were forced to move over 1500 miles away to get the necessary treatment that Ethan so desperately needed. This was troubling to Mike and he decided to change the fate of the Southeast Missouri area. Starting with only a few supporters, Mike vowed to make this group a voice for all children with autism in the area. Since that time, Ethan & Friends has grown with supporters all over the state.
